No. XXIV.
An Act to appropriate and apply out of the
Consolidated Revenue Fund of New SouthWales certain Sums to make good the Sup plies granted for the Service of the Year
1867 and for the Year 1866 and previous
Years. [22nd December, 1866.]
WHEREAS we Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled have granted to Your Majesty the several sums hereinafter mentioned for the service of the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven and for supplementing the Grants made
by the present Parliament in its second Session for the service of the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six and previous years And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales the several sums granted to Your Majesty as aforesaid Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same That out of the said Consolidated Revenue Fund there shall be further appropriated and are hereby appropriated and shall be issued and applied for or towards the several uses and purposes hereafter expressed

10. The Treasurer of the said Colony shall issue and pay the said several sums
to such persons for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned in such manner and in such
proportions as the Governor by any warrant or order in writing under his hand and
| directed to the said Treasurer shall from time to time order and direct and the |
payments so to be made shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated
Revenue Fund of the said Colony.
11. The said Treasurer shall in his Accounts from time to time be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid by him in pursuance of such warrant or order in writing as aforesaid and the receipt or receipts of the respective persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be a full and valid discharge to the said
Treasurer in passing his said Accounts for any such sum or sums as shall be therein
mentioned and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly.
12. This Act may be cited as the " Appropriation Act of 1866 (No. 2 ) . "
