Appropriation Act (No. 4) 1992-93

An Act to appropriate a sum out of the Consolidated

Revenue Fund, additional to the sums appropriated by the

Appropriation Act (No. 2) 1992-93, for certain expenditure

in respect of the year ending on 30 June 1993, and for

related purposes

The Parliament of Australia enacts:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act (No. 4) 1992-93.

Commencement

2. This Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

Issue and application of $56 250 000

3. The Minister for Finance may issue out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and apply for the services specified in the Schedule, in respect of the year ending on 30 June 1993, the sum of $56 250 000.

Appropriation of $56 250 000

4. The sum authorised to be issued out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund is appropriated, and is taken to have been appropriated as from 1 July 1992, for the services specified in the Schedule in respect of the year that commenced on that day.

Department of Primary Industries and Energy

5. The Appropriation Act (No. 2) 1992-93 has effect, and is taken at all

times to have had effect, as if:

(a) item 02 of Division 932 in Schedule 4 to that Act were omitted; and

(b) each amount specified in that Act that included the amount appropriated under that item were reduced by $24 000 000.

Department of Transport and Communications

6. The Appropriation Act (No. 2) 1992-93 has effect, and is taken at all

times to have had effect, as if:

(a)	the reference to the Australian Land Transport Development Trust Account in item 01 of Division 973 in Schedule 4 to that Act were a reference to the Australian Land Transport Development Trust Fund; and
(b)	the amount appropriated to the Department of Transport and Communications under that item, and each amount specified in that Act that included that amount, were reduced by $150 000 000.
