APPROPRIATION (No. 2) 1964–65.

 

No. 122 of 1964.

 

An Act to appropriate additional sums out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for the Salaries of certain Officers of the Public Service of the Commonwealth for the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-five.

[Assented to 24th November, 1964.]

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate,

 and  the  House  of Representatives  of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—

Short title.

1.This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act (No. 2) 1964–65.

Commencement.

2.This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

Increase of appropriations for certain salaries.

3.—(1.) There shall be deemed to be substituted for the amounts set out in the Second Schedule to the Appropriation Act 1964–65 in respect of the salaries of the officers specified in the Schedule to this Act the amounts respectively set out in the Schedule to this Act, and the amounts specified in sections three and four of the first-mentioned Act shall be deemed to have been, and to be, correspondingly increased.

(2.) This section does not have effect so as to authorize payment of any salary at an increased rate in respect of a period before the first day of November, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-four.
