APPROPRIATION (GENERAL

LOAN FUND).

No. 89 of 1970.

AN ACT to appropriate and apply from the General Loan Fund certain sums to make good the sup- plies granted for the service of the Year ending the 30th day of June, 1971, and to supplement grants made by the Present Parliament during its second Session in adjustment of the Vote " Advance to Treasurer, 1969-70," for charges during the Year ended the 30th day of June, 1970.

WE, Your Majesty's Most Dutiful and. Loyal Sub-jects, the Legislative Assembly of Western Aus-

tralia, in Parliament assembled, towards making good

the supply which we have cheerfully granted Your Majesty in this Session of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the Sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore most humbly beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted : And be it

therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of West- ern. Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows (that is to say)

Short title.

1.

This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act (General Loan Fund), 1970-1971.

Application.

2.

There shall and may be issued and applied, for or towards making good the supply granted to Her Majesty for the services of the year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and seventy- one the sum of Forty-six Million Seven Hundred and Sixty-nine Thousand Dollars from the General Loan Fund.

(1) The sum of Seventy-six Million, Seven Hundred and Sixty-nine Thousand Dollars granted by this Act, and the Acts mentioned in Schedule A to this Act, towards making good the supply granted to Her Majesty, is appropriated from the General Loan Fund

for the purposes and services expressed in Schedule B.

Advance to

Treasurer

(2) The sum of Four Million Seven Hundred and Fifteen Thousand Two Hundred and Eighteen Dollars and Sixty-two Cents granted by this Act to supplement grants in confirmation of the expenditure from the Vote " Advance to Treasurer, 1969-70," for charges during the Year ended the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and seventy is appropriated from the General Loan Fund and shall be deemed to have been appropriated for the purposes and services expressed in Schedule C.
