Queensland Appropriation Act 2011 Act No. 23 of 2011 An Act authorising the Treasurer to pay amounts from the consolidated fund for departments for the financial years starting 1 July 2009, 1 July 2011 and 1 July 2012 [Assented to 9 August 2011]

Appropriation Act 2011 [s 1] The Parliament of Queensland enacts— 1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act 2011 . Note — Under the Financial Accountability Act 2009 , section 5, words used in this Act that are defined in the Financial Accountability Act 2009 have the same meaning the words have in that Act, subject to a contrary intention in this Act. 2 Appropriation for 2011–2012 (1) The Treasurer is authorised to pay $47 712 050 000 from the consolidated fund for departments as itemised in schedule 1 for the financial year starting 1 July 2011. (2) For each department, the vote amount mentioned for the department in schedule 2— (a) is appropriated for the financial year for the department to be applied to its departmental services, administered items and equity adjustment as stated in schedule 2; and (b) includes amounts for departmental services, administered items and equity adjustment delivered by the department in the financial year starting 1 July 2010 but for which the department has not been paid in that financial year. (3) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) includes the amount already authorised by the Appropriation Act 2010 , section 3, to be paid for the financial year starting 1 July 2011. 3 Supply for 2012–2013 The Treasurer is authorised to pay $23 850 000 000 from the consolidated fund for departments for the financial year starting 1 July 2012. Appropriation Act 2011 [s 4] 4 Supplementary appropriation for 2009–2010 based on unforeseen expenditure included in the consolidated fund financial report (1) The Treasurer is authorised to pay $1 050 307 000 from the consolidated fund for departments as stated in schedule 3 for the financial year starting 1 July 2009. (2) For each department, the total amount mentioned for the department in schedule 3 is appropriated for the financial year for the department to be applied to its departmental services, administered items and equity adjustment as stated in schedule 3. 5 Repeal The Appropriation Act 2008, No. 45 is repealed. 2011 Act No. 23 Page 5
