Queensland Appropriation Act 2000 Act No. 31 of 2000 An Act authorising the Treasurer to pay certain amounts from the consolidated fund to departments for the financial years starting 1 July 2000 and 1 July 2001 [Assented to 4 September 2000]

s1 4 Appropriation The Parliament of Queensland enacts— s3 No. 31, 2000 ˙ Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act 2000 . ˙ Appropriation for 2000–2001 2.(1) The Treasurer is authorised to pay $16 861 227 000 from the consolidated fund to departments as itemised in schedule 1 for the financial year starting 1 July 2000. 1 (2) For each department, the vote amount mentioned for the department in schedule 2— (a) is appropriated for the financial year for the department for application to its departmental outputs, equity adjustment and administered items as stated in schedule 2; and (b) includes amounts for departmental outputs, equity adjustment and administered items delivered by the department in the financial year starting 1 July 1999 but for which the department has not been paid in that financial year. (3) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) includes the amount already authorised by the AppropriationAct1999 , section 4, to be paid for the financial year starting 1 July 2000. ˙ Supply for 2001–2002 3. The Treasurer is authorised to pay $9 791 300 000 from the consolidated fund to departments for the financial year starting 1 July 2001. 1 Under the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 , section 22, words used in this Act that are defined in the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 have the same meaning the words have in that Act, subject to a contrary intention in this Act.

s4 5 s5 Appropriation No. 31, 2000 ˙ Annual Appropriation Act 4. For the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 , this Act is an Annual Appropriation Act. ˙ Repeals 5. The following Acts are repealed— • Appropriation Act 1997 (1997 Act No. 37) • Appropriation Act (No. 2) 1997 (1997 Act No. 65). * The financial information in some columns in the schedules is rounded to the nearest thousand dollars. Accordingly, some additions may not add correctly due to rounding.
