Appropriation Act 1985-1986 (No. 2) 1985, No. 78 1 145 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title . This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act 1985- 1986 (No. 2). 2. Supply based on Approved Estimates for 1985-1986 . (1) There may be issued out of the public accounts and applied towards making good the supply granted to Her Majesty for the services of the financial year ending on 30th June 1986 the sums following, that is to say- (a) from the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of (b) from the Trust and Special Funds the sum of (c) from the Loan Fund the sum of ...... $4,721,861,696; $8,506,317,278; $354,072,355; amounting in all to the sum of. . .............. $13,582,251,329 (2) The sums specified in subsection (I)- (a) are in addition to the several sums specified in Parts I and II of the Schedule which sums may be issued out of the public accounts and applied for special services under the authority of the several Acts in those Parts respectively mentioned; (b) are inclusive of the three sums of- (i) $2,030,000,000 (ii) $2,850,000,000; and (iii) $160,000,000 already authorized to be issued from the public accounts and applied towards making good the supply for the services of the financial year ending on 30th June 1986 by the Appropriation Act 1984-1985 (No.2) and the AppropriationAct 1985-1986 (No. 1). 3. Appropriation of t' he sums voted for supply 1985 - 1986 . The sums granted by section 2 (1) and which are set forth in Parts III, IV and V of the Schedule amounting as appears by those Parts in all to the sum of $13,582,251,329, are appropriated and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from 1st July 1985 for the supply services expressed in those Parts with respect to the financial year that commenced on that date. 4. Supplementary appropriation based on Supplementary Estimates for 1984 - 1985 . (1) There may be issued out of the public accounts and applied to defray supplementary charges for the supply services of Her Majesty for the financial year ended on 30th June 1985 the further sums following, that is to say- (a) from the Consolidated Revenue Fund a further sum of. . .................. $150,310,308;

(3) The issue and application by the Treasurer before the passing of this Act, of any part of the sums granted and appropriated by this section is hereby authorized and sanctioned and the Treasurer is hereby indemnified against all claims and liabilities with respect to any such issue and application. 5. Supply on account 1986 - 1987 .
