WE . Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Legislative Assembiy of Queensland in Parliament assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted, and be it therefore
612 Appropriation Act (No. 2) 1975, No. 64 enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Appropriation . [ Schedule , Parts I and H .] In addition to the several sums specified in the Parts marked respectively I and II of the Schedule to this Act, and which sums are payable under the authority of the several Acts in those Parts respectively mentioned, there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to Her Majesty for the services of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and seventy-six the sums following, inclusive of the two sums of Four hundred and twenty-eight million dollars and Seven hundred and fifty million dollars already authorized to be applied towards the services of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and seventy-six by the AppropriationAct1974-1975(No.2) and the AppropriationAct1975-1976(No. 1), respectively, that is to say, From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of One thousand two hundred and seventy-five million five hundred and forty-seven thousand, three hundred and thirty-five dollars; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of One thousand four hundred and eighty-one million two hundred and ninety-three thousand one hundred and twelve dollars; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Two hundred and seventeen million one hundred and seventy-four thousand four hundred and eighty-three dollars. 2. Appropriation , There shall and may be issued and applied towards making good the supplies granted to Her Majesty for the services of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and seventy-seven, the sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Two hundred and severity million dollars; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Two hundred and fifty million dollars; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Thirty-three million dollars. 3. Appropriation of sums voted for Supply services . [ Schedule, Pub III, IV and V .] The sums granted by the first section of this Act and by the Appropriation Act1974-1975(No.2) and the AppropriationAct1975-1976(No.1) and which are set forth in the Parts marked respectively III, IV and V of the Schedule to this Act, amounting as appears by the said Parts in all to the sum of Two thousand nine hundred and seventy-four million fourteen thousand nine hundred and thirty dollars, are appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and seventy-five for the purposes and services expressed in the said Parts III, IV and V respectively.
Appropriation Act (No. 2) 1975, No. 64 613 4. Supplementary a ppropria tion, 1974-1975 . [ S chedule , Parts VI, VII and VIII.] There shall and may be issued and applied the further sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), a further sum of One hundred and forty-two million one hundred and twenty-seven thousand eight hundred and sixteen dollars four cents; From the Trust and Special Funds, a further sum of One hundred and twenty-five million nine hundred and seventy-two thousand one hundred and sixty-one dollars twenty-eight cents; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, a further sum of Twenty-three million seven hundred and four thousand three hundred and ninety-eight dollars thirty-seven cents, to defray Supplementary Charges for the services of the year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and seventy-five, and such sums shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and seventy-four, for the purposes and services expressed in the Parts marked respectively VI, VII and VIII of the Schedule to this Act. 5. Treasurer to pay moneys as directed by warrant . The Treasurer of the State shall issue and pay the said several sums for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, to such persons, upon such days, and in such proportions as the Governor, by any warrant or order in writing under his hand and directed to the Treasurer, from time to time orders, and directs, and the payments so made shall, according to the warrant, be charged upon and be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund or the appropriate Trust or Special Fund. 6.. Treasurer to be allowed credit for sums paid in pursuance of warrant. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to time be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid by him in pursuance of any such warrants or orders, in writing as aforesaid, and the receipt or receipts of the respective persons to whom the moneys are paid shall be a full and valid discharge to the Treasurer in passing his accounts for any such sum or sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. 7. Indemnity . [ Schedule , Parts VI , VII and VIII.] The issue or application of any part or parts of the said sums of One hundred and forty-two million one hundred and twenty-seven thousand eight hundred and sixteen dollars four cents, One hundred and twenty-five million nine hundred and seventy-two thousand one hundred and sixty-one dollars twenty-eight cents and Twenty-three million seven hundred and four thousand three hundred and ninety-eight dollars thirty-seven cents which has been made before the passing of this Act for the purposes expressed in the Parts marked respectively VI, VII and VIII of the Schedule to this Act, is hereby authorized and sanctioned, and the Treasurer is hereby indemnified against all claims and liabilities in respect of any such issue or application. 8. Short title . This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act 1975-1976 (No. 2).
