397 ANNO VICESIMO QUARTO ELIZABETHAE SEC UNDAE REGINAE No. 29 of 1975 An Act to Authorise the Appropriation out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and Trust and Special Funds of Further Sums of Money towards the Service of the year ending on the last day of June, 1976 [ASSENTED To Isr SEPTEMHEx, 1975) Preamble . Whereas we, Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, have in the present Session of Parliament cheerfully granted to Your Majesty the several sums hereinafter-mentioned towards the services of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and seventy-six, in addition to the sums already granted during the last Session of Parliament towards the same services: And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and Trust and Special Funds the sums granted to Your Majesty as aforesaid: Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and *ith the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Appropriation . In addition to the sums of One hundred and ninety million dollars already applied from the Consolidated Revenue Fund (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), Two hundred and twenty million dollars already applied from the Trust and Special Funds, and Eighteen million dollars already applied from the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account towards the services of the year ending or the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and seventy-six, by the AppropriationAct1974-1975(No.2), there shall and may be issued and applied, towards
398 Appropriation Act (No. 1) 1975, No. 29 making ,good the suppiies granted to Her Majesty for the services of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and seventy-six, the sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Three hundred and Thirty million dollars; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Three hundred and forty million dollars; and From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Eighty million dollars. 2. Treasure r to pay moneys as directed by warrant . The Treasurer of the State shall issue and pay the said several sums for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, to such persons, upon such days, and in such proportions as the Governor, by any warrant or order in writing under his hand and directed to the Treasurer, from time to time orders and directs, and the payments so made shall, according to the warrant, be charged-upon and be payable out of-the Consolidated Revenue Fund or the appropriate Trust or Special Fund. 3. Treasurer to be allowed credit for sums paid in pursuance of warrant. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to time be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid by him in pursuance of such warrants or orders in writing as aforesaid, and the receipt or receipts of the respective persons to whom the moneys are paid shall be a full and valid discharge to the said Treasurer in passing his accounts for any such sum or sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. 4. Short tide. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act 1975-1976 (No. 1).
