Act No. 20, 1933.

An Act to appropriate and apply out of the Con­ solidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales certain Sums to make good the Supplies granted for the Service of the year from the 1st day of July, 1933, to the 30th day of June, 1934 (inclusive of both dates); to adjust the vote " Advance to Treasurer," 1932-33, Con­ solidated Revenue Fund, for supplementary charges during the period from the 1st day of July, 1932, to the 30th day of June, 1933 (inclusive of both dates i; to cover payments "Unauthorised in Suspense," Consolidated Revenue Fund, for urgent claims on account of Services of the year 1932-33 ; to provide for Services out of the Closer Settlement Fund; to appropriate and apply out of the Government Railways Fund for the Service of the year from the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, to the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four (inclusive of both dates); to cover payments " Unauthorised in Suspense," Government Railways Fund, for urgent claims on account of Services of the year 1932-33 ; to appropriate and apply out of the Road Transport and Traffic Fund for the Service of the year from the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty- three, to the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four (inclusive of both dates) ; to cover payments " Unauthorised

shall not be held liable for any claims which may arise in connection with any of the State Departments trans- ferred to the Commonwealth on or after the date of such transfer.

1 0 . The said Colonial Treasurer or other lawful Authority shall in their respective accounts from time to time be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid by him or them in pursuance of such warrant or order in writing as aforesaid, and the receipts of the respective persons to whom the same are so paid shall be a full and valid discharge to the said Colonial Treasurer or other lawful Authority in passing the said accounts for any such sums as may be therein men- tioned, and he or thev shall receive credit for the same accordingly.
