An Act for the Further Appropriation of the Revenue for the Year ended June Thirtieth, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Eleven, and. for the General Appropriation of the ~ e v e n u e for the Year ending June Thirtieth, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Twelve.

HEREAS, by various Acts and Ordinances of the State of Preamble.

Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor, with the advice and con- sent of the Parliament of

2, Out of the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Pounds issued under the authority of the Act No. 1034 of 19 11, the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Pounds issued under the authority of the Act No. 1038 of 191 1, the sum of Eight Hundred Thousand Pounds issued under the authority of the Act No. 1071 of 1911-12, and the

said sum of One Million Five Hundred and Twenty-nine Thousand Two Hundred and Eight Pounds Seven teen Shillings and One Penny by this Act authorised to be issued, there shall or may be applied in the manner hereinafter mentioned. any sums of money not ex- ceeding in amount respectively the several sums of money here- inafter specified, that is to say-

tioned, not exceeding in the whole the sums respectively in that behalf hereinbefore siecified, to such persons and h such portions as the Governor has heretofore directed by any order or orders in writing signed by him and countersigned by the Chief' Secretary, or may hereafter direct by any order or orders so signed and counter- signed, is hereby authorised; and the said Treasurer shall, in his accounts, be allowed credit for all sums paid by him in pursuance of such orders accordingly; and the receipts of the persons to whom such sums shall have been so paid shall be to him a full discharge for the sum or sums for which the same receipts shall have been respectively given, and the amounts thereof shall be passed to nis credit in account accordingly.
