Australia, certain duties, fines, and other moneys are or may be W and other Acts and Otdinances of the Province of South

Government Establishments and Public Services beyond thc Grant for the year ended the thirtieth h y of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, there shall be paid the sum of Fifty-five

imposed, levied, and collected, to be paid to the Treasurer on behalf

of' Her Majesty, Her heirs and successors, for the public uses of the

said province and support of the Government tbereof-Be it there-

fore Xnacted by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the

Parliament of South Australia, as follows:

General Public Revenues of the said province, not otherwise by lam General Revenue.

1, Out of the said duties, and the produce of all or any other the Appropriatior~ of

specially appropriated, there shall or may be further issued and applied, in the manner hereinafter mentioned, any sums of money not exceeding in amount respectively the several sums of riloney hereinafter specified, that is to sny-

The Treasurer shall issue and pay, from time to time, any sun

ordere of Governor,

anddischargeby

or sums of money for t,he purposcs hereinbcforc mentioned, not

receipt of party,

exceeding in the whole the sums respectively in that behalf herein- before specified, to such persons and in-such portions as the Governor for the time being shall, by any order or orders in

writing signed by him and countersigned by the Chief Secretary,

horn time to time dircct; ancl the said 'l'reasnrer shall, in his accounts, be allowed credit for all sums paid by him in pursuance of such orders accordingly; ancl the receipts of the persons to whom such sums shall have bccn so paid shall be to him a f'ull discharge

respectively given, and the amounts thereof shall be passed to his
