imposed, levied, and collected, to be paid to the Treasurer on behalf | |
of Her Majesty, Her heirs and successors, for the public uses of the | |
said province and support of the Government thereof-Be it there- fore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Aus- tralia, with the advice and coilsent of the Legislative Council and IIouse of Xssernbly of the said province, in this present Parha- ment assembled, as follows: |

exceeding in the whole the sumsrespectively in that behalf Irerein-before ~lpecified, to such persons, andin such portions, as theGover-
nor for the -timebeing shall, by any order or ;orders in writing, @ned by &m, and countersigned by the Chief Secretary, from time
to time direct; and the said Treasurer shall, inhis accounts, be allowed credit for all sums paid by him in pursuance of such orders accordiagly ;and the receipts of the persons to whom such sums
shall have been so paid shall be to him a full discharge for the sum
or sums for which the same receipts shall have bben respectively given, and the amounts thereof shdlbe passed to his credit in account accordingly.
