1. Out c~f tire said duties, and the produce of all or any other the Gcnoral Revenne.

General Public Revenues of the said Province, not otherwise by law specially appropriated, thcre shall or may be further issued and applied, in tile manner hereinafter mmtioned, any sums of money not exceeriing in amount respectively the several sums of money hereinafter specified, that is to say-

before speeifiec?, to such persons, andLin suchuportions, as the Gover- nor for the time being shall, by any ordcr or orders in writing, signed by him, and countersigned by the Chief Szcretary, from time	to time direct; and the said 'l'rcasurer shall, iu his accou~lts, be	allowed cwdit for all sums paid by him in pursuance of such or~Ie3.s
accordingly; and the receipts of thc persons to ~vhom such sums shall have been so paid shall be to him a full dischnrgc for the sum or sums for which the same receipts shall have been respectively giver,, and th;. amounts thereof shall be passed to his credit in account accordingly.
