certain duties, fines, and other moneys are or may be imposed,"levied,

other Acts and Ordinances of the Province of South Australia, and d l e d e d, to be paid t;o the Treasurer on behalf of Her Majesty, Her Heks, and successors, for the public uses of the said Province and support of the Government thereof-Be it therefore Enacted, by the Governor-in-Chief of the Province of South Australia, with .the advice

and musent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the

said Province, in thia present Parliament assembled, W follows:

1. Out of the said duties, and the produce of all or any other the Approp~ation

of

General Public Revenues of the said Province, not otherwise by law General Revenue.

specially appropriated, there shall or may be further issued and

applied, in the manner hereinafter mentioned, any sums of money

not exceeding in amount respectively the several sums of money

herehafter specified, that is to say-

or sums of money for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned. not snd discharged bp

the ordersof Governor

exceeding in the whole the sums respectively in that behalf herein- receipt of party .

before specified, to such persons. and in such portions. as the Governor

for the time being shall. by any order or orders. in writing signed by

him. and countersigned by the Chief Sccr'etary. from time to time

direct. and the said Treasurer shall. in his accounts. be allowed credit for all sums paid by him in pursuance of such orders accordingly. and the receipts of the persons to whom such sums shall have been so paid. shall be to him a full discharge for the sum or sums for

which the same receipts shall have been respectively given. and the

amount6 thereof shall be passed to his credit in account accordingly.
