And be it enacted, that the Colonid Treasurer shdl issue and par from time to time any sum or sums of money, for the yurpospr

lrereinbefore~mentioncd, not exceeding in the whole the sums re

spcctirely in that .behalf bcrcinbefore specified, to such persons and

in such portions as tllc Governor for the time being h a l l, by any order or orders in writing tigncd by him, from time to time direct;

md the said Yrensurer shall, in his accounts, be allow~d credit for all sums paid by him in pursuance of such orders nccordingll-, and

the receipts of the pmsons to whom such sum shall hare been so

paid shall be to him a full discharge for the sum or sums for which

the same receipts shall have been respectirely given, and the amount4

thereof shall be passed to hie credit in account accordingly.
