Australia and its Dependencies and Vice Admiral of the same 1)y aud with the advice and consent of the Legidalive Council thureof 88

follows that is to say -That out of the uaid duties and the produce of

law specially provided for which shall from time to time m m ~ e or become payable during the year One Thousand Eight Hundred aad Forty-three or which shall be otherwise unaappropriated or uuprovided

for by law at the commencement of that year there shall or may be

issued and applied in the manner hereinafter provided for the several purposes hereinafter mentioned any 6um or sums of money not exceed- ing in amount respectively the several sums of money hereinafler specified that is to say-

First-For

the payment of the salaries of his Excellency the

Governor and his Hanor the Judge of the said Province for the said year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty-three the sum of one thousand eight hundred pounds.

Secondly-For

the defraying the charge of the Civil Establishrnenfs

of the Province for the said year One Thousand Eight Hundred snd Forty-three ap hereinafter specified the sum of twentydne thousand seven hundred and fifty-six pounds twelve shillings and six-pence.

And be it Enacted That the Colonial Treasurer shall issue and pay

from time to time any bum or sums of money for the purposes herein-

, before mentioned not exceeding in the) whole the sums respectively in

i that llehnlf hereinbefore specified to such persona and in such portions

as the Governor for the time being c hall by any order or orders in writing signed by him from time to time direct and the said Treasurer shall in his accounts be allowed credit for all sums paid by him in pursuance of such orders accordingly and the receipts of the persons
