2. A n d be i t enacted That out of t he p roduce of the said dut ies the re shall and m a y be issued and applied any sum or sums of money not exceeding six t housand eight h u n d r e d a n d six pounds n ine teen shil l ings and e ight-pence to defray t h e supp lementa ry
charge for t h e service of t he year one thousand eight h u n d r e d and
th i r ty -n ine as hereinafter more par t i cu la r ly expressed t h a t is to
say any sum or sums of money not exceeding six h u n d r e d and n ine ty-e ight pounds two shil l ings and four-pence to defray t h e supp lementa ry expense of t h e D e p a r t m e n t of t h e Councils and a n y s u m or sums of money not exceeding two thousand four h u n d r e d and th i r ty -n ine pounds one shi l l ing and seven-pence to
defray t he supplementa ry expense of t h e Pos tmas te r Genera l ' s
D e p a r t m e n t and any sum or sums of money no t exceeding eighteen
pounds four shil l ings and eight-pence to compensate t h e Reg i s t r a r
of t he Cour t of Reques t s a t Sydney for loss susta ined by h im from

A n d be i t enacted Tha t t h e Treasurer of t he said Colony shal l issue a n d pay t h e said several sums to such persons for t he pur ­ poses hereinbefore ment ioned upon such days and in such propor t ions as t he Governor for t he t ime be ing b y any w a r r a n t or order in wr i t ing to be signed by h i m shall from t ime to t ime order and direct and thai t h e p a y m e n t s so to be m a d e shall be charged upon and payable out ot t h e Revenues of t he said.
