applied any s u m or sums of money n o t exceeding th i r t een t housand
two h u n d r e d and forty-two pounds t e n shil l ings for t h e Miscel laneous
Services of t h e year one t housand e ight h u n d r e d and thi r ty-four
as hereinaf ter more par t i cu la r ly expressed t h a t is t o say any sum

or sums of money no t exceeding t h r ee t h o u s a n d one h u n d r e d and four pounds fifteen shil l ings a n d sixpence to defray t he expense of comple t ing t h e four sheds in t h e Sydney Marke t -p lace and of p lac ing a curb-s tone round t h e whole area thereof a n d any s u m or sums of money no t exceeding five h u n d r e d pounds to defray the expense of erec t ing a br idge over D u c k River t o replace t h a t b u r n t a n d any

A n d be it fur ther enacted That out of t h e produce of t he said dut ies the re shall and may be issued and applied any sum or sums of money not exceeding six h u n d r e d and s ix ty- three pounds th ree shil l ings a n d ninepence to defray t he charge of t he Mi l i t a ry Es tabl i sh­ m e n t of t h e said Colony for t he year one thousand eight hund red and thir ty- l ive.

7. A n d be it fur ther enacted Tha t out of t h e produce of the said dut ies the re shall and may be issued and applied any sum or sums of money not exceeding one thousand four hundred and th i r ty -one pounds t en shil l ings to defray the pensions to re t i red Officers and Widows chargeable upon the Funds of t he Colony for t h e year one t housand e ight hundred and thirty-five.

8. A n d be it further enacted That out of t he produce of t he said dut ies there shall and may be issued and applied any sum or sums of money not exceeding twenty-four thousand seven h u n d r e d and e igh ty- three pounds six shil l ings and e ightpence for defraying the charge for Miscel laneous Services of t he said Colony for t he year one t housand eight h u n d r e d and thirty-five as hereinafter more par t icu la r ly

9. A n d be i t fur ther enacted Tha t out of t h e produce of t h e said duties the re shall and m a y be issued and applied any s u m or sums of money not exceeding two thousand pounds to t h e Governor for t h e t ime-being of t he said Colony to be appl ied to mee t unforeseen expenses on occasions of emergency for t h e year one t housand e ight

h u n d r e d and thir ty-f ive.

10. A n d be it fur ther enacted Tha t t he Treasurer of t he said Colony shall issue and pay t h e said several sums to such persons for t h e purposes hereinbefore men t ioned upon such days and in such propor t ions as t h e Governor for t h e t ime-being by any w a r r a n t or order in wr i t i ng to be signed by h i m shall from t i m e to t ime order a n d direct and t h a t t h e p a y m e n t s so to be m a d e shall be charged upon a n d

payable out of t he Revenues of t h e said Colony.
1 1 . A n d be it fur ther enacted T h a t t he said Treasurer shall in

his accounts from t ime to t ime be allowed credit for any s u m or sums of money paid by h i m in pu r suance of such w a r r a n t or order in

wr i t i ng as aforesaid and t h a t t h e receipt or receipts of t h e respect ive

persons to w h o m t h e same shal l be so paid shal l be a full a n d val id discharge to t h e said Treasurer in pass ing his said accounts for a n y such s u m or sums as shall be therein ment ioned and tha t he shal l and do receive credit for t h e same accordingly.
