A n d be it fur ther enacted Tha t out of t h e produce of the said dut ies the re shall and may be issued and applied any sum or sums of money not exceeding one thousand four hundred and th i r ty -one pounds t en shil l ings to defray the pensions to re t i red Officers and Widows chargeable upon the Funds of t he Colony for t h e year one t housand e ight hundred and thirty-five.

A n d be it fur ther enacted Tha t t he Treasurer of t he said Colony shall issue and pay t h e said several sums to such persons for t h e purposes hereinbefore men t ioned upon such days and in such propor t ions as t h e Governor for t h e t ime-being by any w a r r a n t or order in wr i t i ng to be signed by h i m shall from t i m e to t ime order a n d direct and t h a t t h e p a y m e n t s so to be m a d e shall be charged upon a n d
