AN ACT to appropriate -and apply out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and from Moneys to Credit of the Trust Fund and the General Loan Fund and from the Public Account certain sums to make good the sup- plies granted for the Service of the Year ending the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and to supplement grants made by the present Par- liament during its last Session in adjustment of the Vote "Advance to Treasurer, 1915-16," for charges during the Year ended the 30th day of June, 1916.

WLegislative Assembly of Western Australia, in Parliament

assembled, towards making good the Supply which we have cheer- fully granted to Your Majesty in this Session of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the Sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore most humbly beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted: And be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent. of the Legislative

Council and Legislative Assembly of Western, Australia. in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows (that is to say) :-

Application of

Moneys.

1. There shall and may be issued and applied, for or towards making good the supply granted-to His Majesty for the services of the year ending the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and seventeen, the following sums, that is to say :

From the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of Two Million Seven Hundred and Fifty-five Thousand Four Hundred and Ninety-two Pounds.

From moneys to credit of the Trust Fund, the sum of One Hundred and Ninety-one Thousand Six Hundred and Sixty-two Pounds.

From moneys to credit of the General Loan Fund, the sum of One Million Three Hundred and Three Thousand Four Hundred and Thirteen Pounds.

From the Public Account for Advance to Treasurer the sum of One Hundred Thousand Pounds.

From the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of Four Million and Fifty-one Thousand Four Hundred and Ninety-two Pounds.

From moneys to credit of the Trust Fund the sum of One Hundred and Ninety-one Thousand Six Hundred and Sixty-two Pounds.

. From moneys to credit of the General Loan Fund the sum of One Million Six Hundred and Fifty-three Thousand Four Hundred and Thirteen Pounds.

From the Public Account for Advance to Treasurer the sum of Four Hundred Thousand Pounds ; and

Advance to

(2.) All sums granted by this Act to supplement grants in con- firmation of the expenditure from the vote, " Advance to Treasurer, 191r:16," for charges during the year ended the 30th day of June, 1916, that is to say:

Treasurer.

From the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of Two Hundred and Eight Thousand Four Hundred and Eighty-two Pounds Twelve Shillings and Four pence.

From the General Loan Fund the sum of Eighty-nine Thousand Three Hundred and Eighty-seven Pounds Six Shillings and Six pence,

are appropriated and shall be deemed to have been appropriated;

To be issued, if and when required, from the Public Account, to enable the Treasurer to make advances to public officers, and to other persons, or for payment of deposits on Contracts, or on account of other Governments, etc. Also to pay expenses of an unforeseen nature, chargeable against the Consolidated Revenue Fund or the General Loan Fund ; such disbursements to be transferred monthly to the respec-

and Services, and to be shown as excesses thereon or as new items. The appropriation may also include expenditure in excess of the provision of any Loan Act pending statutory authority for the raising of such moneys, and such expenditure, to be charged to Loan Suspense Account, to be subsequently submitted to Parliament for specific appropriation.
