AN ACT to appropriate and apply out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and from Moneys to Credit of the Trust Fund and the General Loan Fund and from the Public Account certain sums to make good the sup- plies granted for the Service of the Year ending the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and to supplement grants made by the present Par- liament during its last Session in adjustment of the Vote " Advance to Treasurer, 1914-15," for charges during the Year ended the 30th day of June, 1915.

WLegislative Assembly of Western Australia, in Parliament

assembled, towards making good the Supply which we have cheer- fully granted to Your Majesty in this Session of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the Sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore most humbly beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted: And be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative

Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows (that is to say) :—

Application of

1.

There shall and may be issued and applied, for or towards making good the supply granted to His Majesty for the services of the year ending the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixteen, the following sums, that is to say :

Moneys.

From the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of Two Million Six Hundred and Eighty Thousand Four Hundred and Thirty- six Pounds.

From moneys to credit of the Trust Fund, the sum of One Hundred and Forty-four Thousand Two Hundred and Eighteen Pounds.

From moneys to credit of the General Loan Fund, the sum of One Million Five Hundred and Fifty-three Thousand Eight Hun- dred and Eighty-one Pounds.

From the Public Account for Advance to 'treasurer the sum of One Hundred Thousand Pounds.

From the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of Three Million Eight Hundred and Eighty-nine Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty-six Pounds.

From moneys to credit of the Trust Fund the sum of One Hundred and Forty-four Thousand Two Hundred and Eighteen Pounds.

From moneys to credit of the General Loan Fund the sum of Two Million One Hundred and Three Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty-one Pounds.

From the Public Account for Advance to Treasurer the sum of Four Hundred Thousand Pounds ; and

Advance to

(2.) All sums granted by this Act to supplement grants in con- firmation of the expenditure from the vote, " Advance to Treasurer, 1919-15," for charges during the year ended the 30th day of June, 1915, that is to say :

Treasurer.

From the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of Two Hundred and Twenty-nine Thousand Three Hundred and Forty Pounds Three Shillings and Five pence.

From the General Loan Fund the sum of One Hundred and Forty-seven Thousand Three Hundred and Eight Pounds Seven Shillings and Eleven pence,

SCHEDULE E.

ADVANCE TO TREASURER.

To be issued, if and when required, from the Public Account, to enable the Treasurer to make advances to public officers, or other persons, and to the Parliamentary Catering Committee, or for payment of deposits on Contracts, or on account of other Governments, etc. Also to pay expenses of an unforeseen nature, chargeable against the Consolidated Revenue Fund or the General Loan Fund ; such disbursements to be transferred monthly to the respective Votes and Services, and to be shown as excesses thereon or as new items. The appro- priation may also include expenditure in excess of the provision of any Loan Act pending statutory authority for the raising of such moneys, and such expenditure, to be charged to Loan Suspense Account, to be subsequently submitted to Parliament for specific appropriation. Advances under this Schedule may be made, in like manner, out, of the Government Property Sales Fund. The whole amount to be adjusted not later than 30th June, 1917 ...
