AN ACT to confirm the Expenditure for the services of the year One thousand eight hundred and eighty-one, beyond the grants for that year.

| HEREAS by an Act of the Legislative Council, made and Majesty, No. 13 of 1880, the sum of One hundred and sixty-eightW | passed in the forty-fourth year of the reign of Her Present Preamble. |
thousand eight hundred and ninety-four pounds thirteen shillings and tenpence was granted and applied for the services of the year One thousand eight hundred and eighty-one; And whereas by a further Appropriation Act of the said Legislative Council, made and passed in the forty-fifth year of the reign of Her Present Majesty, No. 5 of 1881, the further sum of Fourteen thousand and sixteen pounds one shilling and elevenpence was also granted and applied for the services of the said year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one; And whereas there have been expended for the services of the said year, in excess of the several grants made for the several services, the sums in the account hereunto annexed, that is to say, in all the sum of Five thousand eight hundred and forty-two pounds eight shillings and fourpence ; Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of

Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:
THE sum issued and applied for the services of the year
Excess of Expendi- ended the thirty-first day of December, One thousand eight hundred
time for 1881. and eighty-one, beyond the grants obtained for the same year, that
is to say, the sum of Five thousand eight hundred and forty-two pounds eight shillings and fourpence, be and the same is hereby confirmed and allowed, and is hereby declared to be a charge against the general Revenues of the Colony.
