AN ACT to confirm the Expenditure for the

services of the year One thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, beyond the grants for that year.

[ Assented to, 12th July, 1886. ]

AyHEREAS by an Act of the Legislative Council, made and

passed in the forty-eighth year of the reign of Her Present Preamble.

Majesty, No. 23 of 1884, the sum of Two hundred and forty-seven

thousand four hundred and thirty-one pounds sixteen shillings and elevenpence was granted and applied for the services of the year One thousand eight hundred and eighty-five ; And whereas by a further Appropriation Act of the said Legislative Council, made and passed in the forty-eighth year of the reign of Her Present Majesty, No. 1 of 1885, the further sum of Twenty-five thousand

and eighty-six pounds thirteen shillings and eightpence was also

granted and applied for the services of the said year One thousand eight hundred and eighty-five ; And whereas there have been expended for the services of the said year, in excess of the several

grants made for the several services, the sums in the account hereunto annexed, that is to say, in all the sum of Fourteen pounds

fourteen shillings and threepence : Be it therefore enacted by His

Excess of Expenditure, 1885.

Excellency the Governor of the Colony of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:

THE sum issued and applied for the services of the year

Excess of Expendi- ended the thirty-first clay of December, One thousand eight hundred tore for 15s5. and eighty-five, beyond the grants obtained for the same year, that

is to say, the sum of Fourteen pounds fourteen shillings and threepence, be and the same is hereby confirmed and allowed, and is hereby declared to be a charge against the general Revenues of the Colony.
