AN ACT to confirm the Expenditure for the services of the year One thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, beyond the grant for that year.

WHEREAS by an Act of the Legislative Council, made and

passed in the forty-sedond year of the reign of Her Present Majesty, No. 29 of 1878, the sum of One hundred and fifty-four thousand, seven hundred and eleven pounds, fourteen shillings and eightpence was granted and applied for the services of the year one thousand eight hunched and seventy-nine ; And whereas there has been expended for the Services of the said year, in excess of the several grants made for the several services in the account hereunto annexed, the sum of Eighteen thousand four hundred and seventy- seven pounds two shillings: Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :—

Excess of Expendintre-1879

THE sums issued and applied for the services of the year and seventy-nine, beyond the grant obtained for the same year, that is to say, the sum of Eighteen thousand four hundred and seventy-seven pounds two shillings, be and the same is hereby confirmed and allowed, and is hereby declared to be a charge against the general Revenues of the Colony.
