AN ACT to confirm the Expenditure for the

services of the year One thousand eight hundred and eighty, beyond the grants for that year.

[ Assented to, 18th September, 1881. ]

WHEREAS by an Act of the Legislative Council, made and

passed in the forty-third year of the reign of Her Present Preamble.

Majesty, No. 27 of 1879, the sum of One hundred and seventy-six thousand two hundred and fifty-six pounds four shillings and eight- lace was granted and applied for the services of the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty; Anti whereas by a further Appropriation Act of the said Legislative Council, made and passed in the forty-fourth year of the reign of Her Present Majesty, No. 14 of 1880, the further sum of Pow: thousand and twenty-five pounds two shillings and sixpence was also granted and applied for the services of the said year one thousand eight hundred and eighty; And whereas there have been expended for the services of the said year , in excess of the several grants made for the several services,

the sum's in the account hereunto ainnexed, that is to say, in all the sum of Twenty-eight thousand six hundred pounds thirteen shilling: and one penny: Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of Western Australia and its Dependencies. by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Commi! thereof, as follows:—

THE sum issued and applied for the services of the yea] and eighty, beyond the grants obtained for the same year, that is tc say, the sum of Twenty-eight thousand six hundred pounds thirteen shillings and one penny, be and the same is hereby confirmed and allowed, and is hereby declared to be a charge against the general Revenues of the Colony.
