AN ACT to confirm the Expenditure for the services of the year One thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight, beyond the grant for that year.

HEREAS by an Act of the Legislative Council, made and Majesty, No. 20 of 1817, the sum of One hundred and fifty-oneW passed in the forty-first year of the reign of Her Present Preamble.

thousand, one hundred and fifteen pounds, seven shillings and eightpence was granted and applied for the services of the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight ; And whereas there has been expended for the services of the said year, in excess of the several grants made for the several services in the account hereunto annexed, the sum of Forty-one thousand four hundred and thirty- seven pounds four shillings and ninepence: Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the .advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:—

THE sums issued and applied for the services of the year ended the thirty-first clay of December one thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight, beyond the grant obtained for the same year, that is to say, the sum of Forty-one thousand four hunched and thirty-seven pounds four shillings and ninepence, be and the same is hereby confirmed and allowed, and is hereby declared to be a charge against the general Revenues of the Colony.
