AN ACT to confirm the Expenditure for the services of the year One thousand eight hundred and seventy-six, beyond the grant for that year.

[Assented to, 6th August, 1877.]

HEREAS by an Act of the I egislative Council, made and

passed in the thirty-ninth year of the reign of Her Present Majesty, No. 18 of 1875, the sum of One hundred and fifty-eight thousand, eight hundred and sixty-three pounds, three shillings and twopence was granted and applied for the services of the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six ; And whereas there has been expended for 'the services of the said year, in excess of the several grants made for the several services in the account hereunto annexed, the sum of eighteen thousand seven hundred and fifty-five pounds fifteen shillings and elevenpence: Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :—

THE sums issued and applied for the services of the year ended the thirty-first day of December one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six, beyond the grant obtained for the same year, that is to say, the sum of Eighteen thousand seven hundred and fifty-five pounds fifteen shillings and elevenpence, be and the same is hereby confirmed and allowed, and is hereby declared to be a charge against the general Revenues of the Colony.
