AN ACT to confirm the Expenditure for the services of the year One thousand eight hundred and seventy-four, beyond the grant for that year.

A TIIEREAS by an Act of the Legislative Council, made and Preamble.

passed in the thirty-seventh year of the reign Df Her Present Majesty, No. 18 of 1873, the sum of One hundred and fourteen thousand, four . hundred and twenty-one pounds, two shillings and sixpence was granted and applied for the services of the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four ; And whereas there has been expended for the services of the said year, in excess of the several grants made for the several services in the account hereunto annexed, the sum of Twenty thousand nine hundred and twenty-five pounds thirteen shillings, and one penny: Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of .Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:—

THE sums issued and applied for the services of the year ended the thirty-first day of December one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four, beyond the grant obtained for the same year, that is to say, the sum of Twenty thousand nine hundred and twenty-five pounds, thirteen shillings, and one penny, be and the same is hereby confirmed and allowed, and is hereby declared to be a charge against the general Revenues of the Colony.
