AN ACT to appropriate the sum of Ninety-eight Thou-

sand and Thirty-six Pounds, Fourteen Shillings, and Twopence, out of the General Revenue of the Colony, for the Service of the year One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

[Assented to, 17th August, 1871.]

HEREAS the Governor and Legislative Council have

authorized to be issued and applied, out of the General Public -Revenue, the several sums hereinafter mentioned, for the service of the year One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two ; Be it therefore enacted, by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

specially appropriated, there shall or may be issued and applied, for

the service of the year One thousand eight hundred and seventy- two, any sum or sums not exceeding the sum of Ninety-eight Thousand and Thirty-six Pounds, Fourteen Shillings, and Twopence, for defraying the charge of the Colonial Government for the year ending the Thirty-first day of December, One Thousand Eight Hunched and Seventy-Two, the said amount being appropriated as follows, namely:—

2 THE Colonial Treasurer shall issue and pay such sum or
