AN ORDINANCE to confirm the Expenditure for the Ser- vices of the Year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty-Six beyond the grant for that year.

[ 15th July, 1867. ]

THEREAS, by an Ordinance of the Legislative Council, made

and passed in the Twenty-ninth year of Her present Majesty,

No. 11, of 1865, the stun of Seventy-six thousand and fifty-nine

pounds was granted and applied for the services of the year One

.thousand eight hundred and sixty-six : And whereas there has been

expended for the services of the said year in excess of the grants. made for the several services in the account hereto annexed, the sum. of Fourteen thousand two hundred and ten pounds, four shillings, and sixpence ; Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:

THE sums issued and applied for the services of the year ended the thirty-first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and sixty- six, beyond the grant obtained for the same year, that is to say, the .sam of Fourteen thousand two hundred and ten pounds, four shillings, and sixpence, be and the same is hereby confirmed and allowed, and is hereby declared to be a charge against the general Revenues of the Colony.
