AN ORDINANCE to confirm the Expenditure for the ser-

vices of the year One thousand eight hundred and

sixty-five, beyond the grant for that year,

[ 9th July, 1866. ]

HEREAS by an Ordinance of the Legislative Council, made and passed in the Twenty-eighth year of Her present Majesty, No. 11, of 1864, the sum of Seventy-four thousand and thirty-eight pounds was granted and applied for the • services of the year One thousand eight hundred and sixty-five. And whereas there has been expended for the services of the said year in excess of the grants made for the several services in the account hereto annexed, the sum of Seven thousand five hundred pounds, four shillings, and six pence: Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia, and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :—

Excess of expenditure for

THE sums issued and applied for the services of the year ended the thirty-first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and• sixty- five, beyond the grant obtained for the same year, that is to say, the sum of Seven thousand five hundred pounds, four shillings, and six pence, be and the same is hereby confirmed and allowed, and is hereby declared to be a charge against the general Revenues of the Colony.
