AN ORDINANCE to confirm the expenditure for the ser-

vices of the year 1864, beyond the grant for that year.

[ 7th July, 1865. ]

HEREAS by an Ordinance of the Legislative Council, made was granted and applied for the services of the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty four. And whereas there has been expended for the services of the said year in excess of the grants made for the several services in the account hereto annexed, the sum of six thousand and twenty four pounds, nineteen shillings, and one penny; Be it enacted therefore by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:—

of 1863, the sum of seventy thousand one hundred anti forty pounds

THE sums issued and applied for the services of the year Excess of expenditure for

ended the thirty first day of December, one thousand eight hundred 1864, confirmed.

and sixty four, beyond the grant obtained for the same year, that is to say, the sum of six thousand and twenty four pounds, nineteen shillings, and one penny, be and the same is hereby confirmed and allowed, and is hereby declared to be a charge against the general.
