AN ORDINANCE to confirm the Expenditure for the

Services of the Year 1861 beyond the Grant for that Year.

HEREAS by an Ordinance the 24th of Victoria, No. 2, of Forty-six Pounds, Six Shillings and Eight Pence was granted andW

1860, the Sum of Fifty-nine Thousand, Seven Hundred and

applied for the Services of the Year 1861; And whereas there has been expended for the Services of the said Year, the further Sum of Twenty-five Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy-five Pounds, Nineteen Shillings and Eight Pence ; Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Depen- dencies by and with the Advice and Consent of the Legislative Council thereof, and by the Authority of the same : That the Excess of Expenditure

Sum of Twenty-five Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy-five for 1861 confirmed.

Pounds, Nineteen Shillings and Eight Pence which has been

Issued and applied for the Services of the Year 1861 beyond the Grant obtained for the Services of the said Year ended the 31st December, 1861, be and the same is hereby confirmed and allowed, and is hereby declared to be a Charge against the general Revenues of the Colony.
