9 . The Treasurer of t h e said Colony shall issue and pay t h e said several sums

to such persons for t h e purposes hereinbefore ment ioned upon such days and in such
propor t ions as t he Governor by a n y w a r r a n t or order in wr i t ing u n d e r his h a n d a n d directed to t h e said Treasurer shall from t ime to t ime order and direct and t h e paymen t s so to be m a d e shall be charged upon and payable ou t of t h e Consolidated Revenue E u n d of t h e said Colony.

10.    The said Treasurer shall in his Accoun t s from t i m e to t ime be allowed

credi t for any s u m or sums of money paid by h i m in pu r suance of such w a r r a n t or order in wr i t ing as aforesaid and t h e receipt or receipts of t h e respective persons to w h o m t h e same shall be so pa id shall be a full and valid discharge to t h e said Treasurer in passing his said Accounts for any such s u m or sums as shall be t h e r e i n ment ioned and he shal l receive credit for t h e same accordingly.
