9. The Treasurer of t h e said Colony shal l issue and pay t h e said several sums to such persons for t h e purposes hereinbefore ment ioned u p o n such days and in such propor t ions as t he Governor by a n y w a r r a n t or order in wr i t ing unde r his h a n d a n d directed to the said Treasurer shall from t ime to t ime order and direct and the paymen t s so to be made shall be charged upon and payable out of t he Consolidated

10. The said Treasurer shall i n his Accoun t s from t ime to t ime be al lowed credit for any s u m or sums of money paid by h i m in pur suance of such w a r r a n t or order in wr i t ing as aforesaid and t h e receipt or receipts of t h e respective persons to w h o m t h e same shall be so paid shall be a full and valid discharge to t he said Treasure r in pass ing his said Accounts for any such s u m or sums as shall be t he re in ment ioned and he shall receive credit for t he same accordingly.
