A n d be it enacted Tha t the said Treasurer shall in h i s accounts from t ime to t ime be al lowed credi t for any s u m or sums of money paid by h im in p u r s u a n c e of such w a r r a n t or order in wr i t ing as aforesaid and tha t the receipt or receipts of t he respective persons to whom t h e same shal l be so paid shall be a full and valid discharge to t h e said Treasurer in pass ing h is said accounts for any such sum or sums as shal l be there in men t ioned and t h a t he shall a n d do receive credit for t h e same accordingly.
