Council thereof; that out of the produce of the Revenue of the said Ct,lony there shall and may be issued and applied any sum or sums not exceeding Eight thousand nine hundred and seventy-one pounds, Twelve shillings, and Sixpence, for defraying the expenses of those Establishments chargeable on the Colonial Fund for the Year com- mencing first of April, one thousand eight hundred and forty-two, as hereinafter more particularly expressed :—that is to say, any sum or sums not exceeding Forty-five pounds, Twelve shillings, and Six

as the Governor for the time being, by any warrant or order in wri- ting so signed by him, shall from time to time order and direct ; and that the payment so made shall be charged upon and payable out of the Revenue of the said colony.
