AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Apprenticeship Ordinance 1936-1938.

'Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Seat of BE it ordained by the Governor-General in and over the Common- Government Acceptance Act 1909-1938 and the Seat of Government
(Administration) Act 1910-1947, as follows :—

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Apprenticeship short title

Ordinance 1950.* agitation.
(2.) The Apprenticeship Ordinance 1936-1948, as amended by
this Ordinance, may be cited as the Apprenticeship Ordinance 1936-
1950.

2 . This Ordinance shall come into operation on the fourth day commencement,

of January, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-one.

3 . Section forty-three of the Apprenticeship Ordinance 1936-1938 wages rates,

is amended—

(a) by inserting after the word " apprentice " the words " or

trainee apprentice " ; and

(b) by omitting the proviso thereto.
