AN ORDINANCE
To amend the Apprenticeship Ordinance 1936-1937.
BE it^ordained by the Administrator of the Government of the Executive Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Commonwealth of Australia, with the advice of the Federal Seat of Government Acceptance Act 1909 and the Seat of Govern-
| ment (Administration) | Act 1910-1933, as follows:— |
1.— (1.) This Ordinance may be cited'as the Apprenticeship Short title

Ordinance 1938.
(2.) The; Apprenticeship Ordinance 1936-1937 is in this Ordi- nance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.
(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance,' may be cited as tlie Apprenticeship Ordinance 1936-1938.
2. Section five of 1 lie Principal Ordinance is amended by Definition,
omitting the definition of " Trainee apprentice " and inserting in
its stead the following definition:—
" ' Trainee apprentice' means a person who is employed in an apprenticeship trade without indentures or other written contract for the purpose of learning to be a skilled journeyman.".
