1. The applicant seeks an order under s 40(1) of the Judiciary Act 1903 (Cth) that the whole of the cause pending in the Magistrates Court at Murgon, Queensland being proceeding numbered MAG-00150128/24(2)-MURG-MAG-00000543/24 be removed to this Court. That proceeding concerns a charge against the applicant for the offence of contravening a protection order made pursuant to the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012 (Qld).

2. The applicant has not identified sufficient reason to warrant this Court's interference with the ordinary progression of proceedings in the Magistrates Court. Accordingly, the applicant has not shown sufficient cause for the removal of the proceeding to this Court.

3. The application for removal is refused with costs.
