Apple and Pear Levy Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, and after taking into consideration the recommendations made to the Minister by the Australian Apple and Pear Growers' Association with respect to the rate of the levy imposed by the Apple and Pear Levy Act 1976, hereby make the following Regulations under that Act.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 January 1985.

Rate of levy

2. Regulation 3 of the Apple and Pear Levy Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) "90 cents" and substituting "$1. 10";

(b) by omitting from paragraph (b) "$ 1.80" and substituting "$2.20"; and

(c) by omitting from paragraph (c) "9" and substituting " 11".

Repeal

3. Regulation 4 of the Apple and Pear Levy Regulations is repealed.
