An Act to amend the Apple and Pear Export Charges Act 1938–1957,
and for other purposes.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate,
and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—
Short
title and citation.
1.—(1.) This Act may be cited as the Apple and
Pear Export Charges Act 1960.
(2.) The
Apple and Pear Export Charges Act 1938–1957, as amended by this Act, may
be cited as the Apple and Pear Export Charges Act 1938–1960.
Commencement
2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it
receives the Royal Assent.
Charges
on the export of apples and pears.
3. Section
four of the Apple and Pear Export Charges Act 1938–1957 is amended by
omitting from sub-section (2.) the word “Twopence” and inserting in its stead
the word “Sixpence”.
