An Act to amend the Apple
and Pear Export Charges Act 1938-1947, and for other purposes.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the
House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—
Short title and citation.
1.—(1.)
This Act may be cited as the Apple and Pear Export Charges Act 1957.
(2.) The Apple and Pear
Export Charges Act 1938–1947, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Apple
and Pear Export Charges Act 1938–1957.
Charges on the export of
apples and pears.
2. Section
four of the Apple and Pear Export Charges Act 1938–1947 is amended by
omitting from sub-section (2.) the words “One penny” and inserting in their
stead the word “Twopence”.
Existing rate to continue
until date to be fixed.
3. Notwithstanding the amendment made by the last preceding section, the
rate of the charges under the Apple and Pear Export Charges Act 1938
