Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Apiaries Regulation 2013 to exempt beekeepers from having

the Australian Capital Territory and comply with certain conditions.	to be registered under the Apiaries Act 1985 if they are registered under the Animal Diseases Act 2005 of regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Apiaries Amendment (Registration Exemptions) Regulation
2017.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Apiaries Regulation 2013

Clause 13 Exemption from requirement to be registered for interstate beekeepers

Insert after clause 13 (2) (e):

(f) the Animal Diseases Act 2005 of the Australian Capital Territory.
