MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 51 (1) of the Apiaries Act 1985, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to remove American foulbrood as a compensatable disease under
the Apiaries Act 1985.

This Order is made under section 51 (1) of the Apiaries Act 1985.

This Order is the Apiaries Amendment (Compensatable Diseases)
Order 2013.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on 1 September 2013 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

Schedule 3 Compensatable diseases

Omit “American foulbrood (Bacillus larvae)”.
