An Act to amend the Anzac Day Act 1960.

[Assented to 26 November 2003]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

1.             Short title

This Act may be cited as the Anzac Day Amendment Act 2003.

2.             Commencement

This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives

the Royal Assent.

3.             The Act amended

The amendments in this Act are to the Anzac Day Act 1960*.

4.             Section 4 amended

Section 4(3) is repealed.

5.             Section 10 amended

Section 10(2)(a) is deleted.

6.             Section 11 amended

Section 11(3)(b) is amended by deleting “Returned Sailors’,

Soldiers’ & Airmen’s Imperial League of Australia, W.A.

Branch,” and inserting instead —

“

Returned and Services League of Australia

WA Branch

”.
