AN ACT to amend the Anzac Day Act, 1960-1975.

[Assented to 12th April, 1976.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Anzac Day

and citation.

Short title

Act Amendment Act, 1976.

(2) In this Act the Anzac Day Act, 1960-1975 is

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may

be cited as the Anzac Day Act, 1960-1976.

Section 5

Section 5 of the principal Act is amended by

adding at the end thereof a subsection as follows

(4) When the twenty-fifth day of April in any year falls on a Sunday each of the references in subsections (1) and (2) of this section to Anzac Day shall, in and in relation to that year, be construed as a reference to the next following Monday and to that day only. .

Section 7 of the principal Act is amended by
