AN ACT to amend the Anzac Day Act, 1960-1970.

[Assented to 9th May, 1975.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Anzac Day

and

Act Amendment Act, 1975.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may

Section 3.

amended.

2. Section 3 of the principal Act is amended

(a)

by substituting for the words "or trotting racing" in the last line of the interpreta- tion "race meeting" a passage as follows ", trotting racing, or greyhound racing";

(b)

by substituting for the words "or trotting racing" in the penultimate and last lines of the interpretation "racing club" the passage ", trotting racing, or greyhound racing"; and

(c)

by substituting for the words "or trotting races" in the last line of the interpretation "sports" the passage ", trotting races, or greyhound races".

Section 4

amended.

3. Section 4 of the principal Act is amended

(a)

by adding after the numerals "1917" in line two of subsection (1) the passage "or the Greyhound Racing Control Act, 1972"; and

(b)

by adding after the numerals "1917" in the last line of subsection (5) the passage "and section twenty-three of the Greyhound Racing Control Act, 1972".
