I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Antiochian Orthodox Church Property Trust Act 1993, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 3 September 1993 as the day on which that Act commences.

Interpretation Act 1987, the proclamation does not fail merely because it was not published in the Gazette until after the day appointed in the proclamation, but s. 23 (5) provides, in that event, for the Act to commence on the day on which the proclamation was published in the Gazette.
