Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Anti-Discrimination Regulation 2009 to enable
complaints under the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 to be lodged by email.
This Regulation is made under the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, including sections 89A and

127 (the general regulation-making power).

Anti-Discrimination Amendment (Email Complaints)

Regulation 2010

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Anti-Discrimination Amendment (Email
Complaints) Regulation 2010.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Anti-Discrimination Regulation 2009

Clause 4A

Insert after clause 4:

4A Use of email to lodge complaints

For the purposes of section 89A (2) (c) of the Act, a complaint may be lodged with the President by email to an email address specified by the Board on the Board’s website.
